Matt's story
From Wyoming to TPC Las Vegas
Born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Matt's passion for golf started early. A graduate of UNLV, he refined short-game and scoring habits working alongside legendary coach Dave Pelz—experience that still informs how he teaches wedge play and pressure rehearsal today.
As Assistant Men's Golf Coach at the University of Tennessee, Matt helped collegiate athletes build repeatable routines under tournament conditions. Over two decades he has stacked certifications in 3-D motion, TrackMan, FlightScope, and screening-based coaching—always tying tools back to what shows up on the course when it counts.
Today his teaching blends biomechanics clarity with practical assignments you can repeat between visits—so improvement doesn't depend on perfect range conditions alone.
